Shades of Gray...

I am trying to decide on a gray for my office, if I use gray.  My office is in the front of my house and doesn't get direct sunlight but very early in the morning, well during the summer months only.  It's so dark and dreary in here I don't like to spend much time in here.  And that certainly causes a problem when working, blogging etc.  What color is your office?  What colors would you suggest for a home office?

Don't  you just LOVE the zebra print?

Have a wonderful weekend!!! xoxo

ps My entire house is neutral tones like the second picture

  1. The yellow in the 3rd photo really brightens it up! Maybe if you pair it with something really bright it won't look dreary in the winter mornings. I like it. Hope you have fun weekend plans. What's the cupid project?

  2. Ha, you still didn't decide on the office color.. we talked about that a while ago.. weren't you thinking a nice, pale yellow? or maybe green? I like those 2.. you need to brighten it up in there! :)

  5. These are all gorge rooms. I have one wall in my office that is grey and the others are white. It works well b/c I have a similar circumstance to you. I bought a big shiny mirror to put on the wall and brighten it up, but I am a huge fan of grey so "make it work" is most def a motto :)

Also - get the zebra!! You will not regret.

  10. I would love to have an office with a mustard and grey color palette. I've been trying to use that color scheme in my house for the past 3 years and just never went for it. Perhaps in my new space...

  11. Oh yea, I LOVE the zebra print! I just recently bought a zebra print chair for my guest room. The room is mostly pastels and I needed to snazz it up a little! Love it now.

  28. i love gray! i painted my bedroom a dark gray and it's not dreary at all. it really depends on what accents you use. plus, i like offices to be darker but that's because it's better for me to have it darker for photoshop work (for color balance.)
